SEMINAR ASSISTANCE AND STUDENT PUBLICATION FEE DEPARTMENT OF MATHEMATICS 2025

Dear S1/S2/S3 Student, Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, UGM

Respectfully, in order to support scientific publications and academic mobilization of students, the Department of Mathematics of FMIPA UGM opens  Conference and Publication Fees Fund Assistance  for active students at the S1, S2, and S3 levels  who will:

  1. Publish scientific papers that have accepted status in national journals, international journals, reputable international journals indexed by Scopus, or proceedings of international seminars/conferences indexed by Scopus.
  2. Presenting articles in national/international seminars.
  3. Participating in a student mobility program approved by the Study Program.

This assistance can be applied for  a maximum of twice in one budget year, with the amount of assistance that has been determined based on the level of study. In addition, this assistance can also cover transportation costs if the activity is part of a collaboration with partners of the Department of Mathematics and approved by the Study Program as a student mobilization program. The provisions and procedures for applying for assistance can be seen in the attachment to this announcement.

Applications for assistance can be made from February to October 31, 2025. Submissions after October 31, 2025 will be processed in the 2026 Fiscal Year. Please students fill  out the google forms that we have provided in the attachment.

We invite all students who meet the criteria to take advantage of this program as a support for academic activities and improve the quality of scientific publications of students of the Department of Mathematics of FMIPA UGM.

Student Seminar Assistance and Publication Fee Department of Mathematics 2022

  To Bachelor’s/Master’s/Ph.D. Students in the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, UGM

In order to increase the number of academic publications for Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Ph.D. students in the Department of Mathematics,we are providing the following:  Seminar Assistance Form (for Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Ph.D. students), Publication Fee(for Master’s and Ph.D. students). The quotas are as follows:

Bachelor’s (S1): 10 students (maximum of 1 million rupiahs per student per year, first come first served)

Master’s (S2): 30 students (maximum of 2.5 million rupiahs per student per year). Ph.D. (S3): All students (maximum of 4 million rupiahs per student per year).

Bachelor’s and Master’s (S1/S2): Assistance for IndoMS School or Workshop fees is 100,000 rupiahs per student per year.

Regulations For The Use Of Student Workspaces In Doctoral Program In Mathematics FMIPA UGM

  1. Hours of use of the workspace for Doctoral Program students in Mathematics, FMIPA UGM on the 2nd floor of SIC during working hours:
  2. Monday to Thursday: 07:30 to 16:00
  3. Friday: 07:30 to 15:30

If students wish to use the workspace beyond the working hours mentioned above, students can contact the Doctoral Program Mathematics administration officer to borrow the key and the time limit for using the space is 21:00 WIB. After finishing using the space, students are required to turn off the AC, lights, and PC and lock the door of the workspace, then return the key to the security officer on duty, the key may not be taken home.

  1. The last student to use the workspace and leave the room during working hours must turn off the lights, AC, and PC and notify the Doctoral Program Mathematics administration officer that the workspace is empty.
  2. Students are required to maintain security, order, and cleanliness in the student workspace.
  3. Students are prohibited from inviting family members or friends who can disturb fellow Doctoral Program students who are working in the workspace.
  4. If the administrative officer of the Doctoral Study Program in Mathematics is not in the administration room on the 2nd floor of the SIC Building, Doctoral students who will use the workspace can pick up the key in the Study Program Administration Room on the 2nd Floor (Sukir Widodo)
