Stakeholder Suggestions

DP-Math held an online meeting on November 12th, 2021, to gather input from students for curriculum evaluation in preparation for compiling the 2022 Curriculum. The input collection was also carried out via a Google Form.

Input by lecturers is carried out through workshops and meetings.  The review was done in all components from the vision and mission to the course syllabus. Adjustments to courses to give students flexibility in conducting research become discussions, which then become recommendations in the 2022 Curriculum.

On November 3rd, 2021, an online workshop was held at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences UGM, inviting:

  1. Dr. Agus Suryanto, M.Sc. (Curriculum Expert in Indonesia—a member of IndoMS—the Indonesian Mathematical Society).
  2. Chan Basaruddin, Ph.D. (Curriculum Expert in Indonesia—Director of the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education)
  3. Ing. Agung W. Kencono (Senior Advisor Schneider Int.)

On November 26th, 2021, DP-Math held an online workshop by inviting:

  1. KAS3MAT (Keluarga Alumni S3/Doktor Matematika – DP-Math Alumni Family) to convey input from alumni who are members of KAS3MAT. Alumni input was presented by:
    1. Dr. Agus Maman Abadi, M.Si. Yogyakarta State University (Chairman of KAS3MAT),
    2. Dr. Didik Khusnul Arif, M.Si.  Institute of Technology Sepuluh Nopember (Deputy Chairman of KAS3MAT), and
    3. Dr. Mutijah, S.Pd., M.Si. State Islamic University Professor Kiai Haji Saifuddin Zuhri Purwokerto (Secretary of KAS3MAT).
  2. Users:
    1. Dr. Budi Nurani, M.S. (Dean of FMNS, Padjajaran University) and
    2. Farikhin, M.Sc. (Vice Dean of Academic Affairs, FST Diponegoro University),
  3. Institution: Frederich Ezerman, Ph.D. from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

All workshops were held to obtain evaluation and input on the vision, mission, study program objectives, graduate profiles, learning outcomes, and curriculum in the 2017 Curriculum Document for the preparation of the 2022 Curriculum Document

The Curriculum Draft received input from:

  1. Dr. Budi Nurani, M.S. (Dean of FMNS, Padjajaran University). She is an academic and curriculum expert in Indonesia who belongs to the Indonesian Mathematics Society (IndoMS).
  2. Risman Adnan, Ph.D. (Chief Technology Officer, R&D Samsung ). He represents form industry. sebagai wakil industri).

Inputs for the Mathematics Doctoral Study Programme of the Department of Mathematics FMNS UGM are documented in the Study Programme, including: Feedback Students-Lecturers-Alumni-and Expert
