Yogyakarta – Wira Kurniawan, S.E., a staff member from the Department of Mathematics at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), secured the second-best position in the prestigious Selection of Outstanding Lecturers and Education Personnel (INSPIRASI UGM) 2024. The award was presented directly by the UGM Rector, recognizing Wira in the category of Inspirational Performer in the Fields of Academics, Student Affairs, Quality Assurance, and Collaboration.
The award ceremony, held at Grha Sabha Pramana on Wednesday evening (13/11), was attended by university leaders, lecturers, staff, and invited guests. This award symbolizes appreciation for Wira Kurniawan’s exceptional dedication and significant contributions in supporting academic services and student development at UGM.
“It is a great honor for me to receive this award. This award is not just the result of my hard work, but also due to the inspiration, ideas, support, and assistance from all the academic community members of FMIPA UGM, especially the lecturers, staff, and fellow students in the Department of Mathematics. I also see this award as motivation to continue contributing positively, innovating, and providing the best quality service in the Faculty of MIPA UGM. I am deeply grateful for the support of my family, colleagues, and everyone who has helped me achieve this milestone.
