Yogyakarta, December 6, 2024 – As part of the 69th Anniversary of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), the 2024 MIPA Appreciation Night was held on Friday, December 6, 2024. The event was celebrated with great enthusiasm and pride at the southern terrace of the 1st Floor Auditorium, FMIPA UGM, from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM WIB.
The MIPA Appreciation Night is an annual event aimed at recognizing outstanding achievements among FMIPA UGM’s academic community. This year, the event once again drew admiration for the remarkable contributions of lecturers, academic staff, and students in various fields.
Seven lecturers from the Department of Mathematics were honored for their extraordinary dedication:
- Danang Teguh Qoyyimi, M.Sc., Ph.D. – Collaboration Category
- Prof. Dr. Sri Wahyuni, S.U. – Institutional Development Category
- Dr. Nanang Susyanto, S.Si., M.Sc. – Department Management Category
- Made Tantrawan, S.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D. – Teaching Category
- Iwan Ernanto, S.Si., M.Sc. – Alumni Management Category
- Prof. Dr.rer.nat. Indah Emilia Wijayanti, S.Si., M.Si. – Laboratory Head Category
- Dr. Dwi Ertiningsih, M.Si., S.Si. – Quality Assurance Category
These awards are a testament to their significant contributions in advancing the institution, enhancing the quality of education, and strengthening relationships with various stakeholders.
The Dean of FMIPA UGM, Prof. Dr. Eng. Kuwat Triyana, M.Si., expressed his pride and gratitude to all the award recipients. “The awardees tonight have shown exceptional commitment and hard work. Their contributions are an integral part of FMIPA UGM’s progress. May these awards serve as motivation to continue creating and inspiring others within the academic community,” he said.
In addition to the award presentations, the event featured various performances and heartfelt speeches, creating a warm and familial atmosphere. The 2024 MIPA Appreciation Night was not just an awards ceremony but also a moment for reflection to maintain the spirit of innovation and dedication within FMIPA UGM.
With these recognitions, the Mathematics Department lecturers once again demonstrated their exceptional contributions to supporting Universitas Gadjah Mada’s mission as a world-class research university.
