Graduates from various regions participated in the UGM Mathematics Master’s Program selection for Wave III of the 2025/2026 academic year.

The Mathematics Master’s Program at FMIPA UGM has reopened admissions for new students through the Regular Track for Wave III of the 2025/2026 academic year. The selection test was held on Tuesday, May 20, 2025.

It took place in a blended format from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. WIB at the Meeting Room on the third floor of the S2/S3 Building at FMIPA UGM. Participants came from various universities, both within and outside of Java Island. These universities included Universitas Gadjah Mada, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta, UIN Sunan Kalijaga, Universitas Lampung, Universitas Halu Oleo, Universitas Nusa Cendana, UIN Alauddin, Universitas Islam Riau, Universitas Sam Ratulangi, and UIN Sunan Ampel.

The participants were enthusiastic about taking the selection test. The exam materials covered Introduction to Real Analysis, Introduction to Mathematical Statistics, and Introduction to Algebra. Each section was 70 minutes long.

The Head of the Master’s Program in Mathematics, Prof. Dr. Sri Wahyuni, S.U., officially opened the event by delivering a welcoming speech and providing guidance related to the selection test. Also present were the program’s management and administrative staff, as well as academic support personnel from the Department of Mathematics who acted as exam supervisors.

Dr. Indarsih, M.Si., the Secretary of the Master’s Program in Mathematics, concluded the substantive test series by sharing information about the study program, LPDP scholarships, registration deferment procedures, and the next steps for participants who passed directly, as well as for those who must attend the deficiency program.

Selection results will be announced on May 28, 2025, on the Universitas Gadjah Mada website (um.ugm.ac.id), accessible via each participant’s registration account. We hope that all participants will be accepted with satisfactory results!
