Yogyakarta, 23 June 2025 – After the success of Webinar Series #1 which discussed “Cryptography in Your Daily Life”, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) in collaboration with Politeknik Siber dan Sandi Negara (Poltek SSN) is organizing Webinar Series #2 which will raise the theme “Current and Future Cybersecurity Challenges”. This webinar will be held on Friday, August 15, 2025, at 13:15 – 15:15 WIB, through the Zoom Meeting platform.
The event will feature two expert speakers in the field of cybersecurity. The first speaker, Dr. Bety Hayat Susanti, S.Si., M.E., who is a lecturer at SSN Polytechnic, will discuss the challenges facing cyberspace today, as well as the steps that need to be taken to deal with them. The second speaker, Uha Isnaini, S.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D., from the Department of Mathematics FMIPA UGM, will deliver material on future cybersecurity trends and developments. Both will provide in-depth insights into increasingly complex cyber threats.
The moderator of this event is Dea Alvionita Azka, S.Pd., M.Sc., a lecturer from Sriwijaya University, who will guide the discussion and question and answer session between participants and speakers. With the experience and expertise of the speakers and moderators, this webinar will certainly provide a comprehensive understanding of the latest issues in cyber security.
This webinar is open to all who are interested in cybersecurity topics, from academics, professionals, and the general public.
