Yogyakarta, July 23, 2025 — Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) held the Graduation Ceremony for Postgraduate Programs Period IV of the 2024/2025 Academic Year on Wednesday (July 23) at the 2nd floor of Grha Sabha Pramana. The ceremony was attended by 917 graduates, consisting of 746 master’s degree graduates, 74 specialist program graduates, 18 sub-specialist graduates, 79 doctoral graduates, and 2 international graduates.
The Department of Mathematics, Master of Mathematics Program at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) UGM proudly graduated 12 students during this period.
The ceremony was officially opened by the Vice-Rector for Education and Teaching, Prof. Dr. Wening Udasmoro, S.S., M.Hum., DEA. In her remarks, which also conveyed the message from the Rector of UGM, it was emphasized that UGM hopes all graduates will continue to uphold their commitment to the advancement of science and technology, while honoring the university’s good name.
“In performing their professional duties, graduates are expected to always prioritize a sense of responsibility toward the welfare of Indonesian society in particular, and the world in general, in line with the ideals of the Indonesian nation as stated in Pancasila,” the Rector’s message stated.
The Vice-Rector also reminded the graduates of the importance of networking as a key to future success.
“Don’t forget that building networks is one of the keys to success, and KAGAMA can be one of the networks already within your reach,” she added.
The event proceeded solemnly, attended by graduates along with their families, and members of the UGM academic community.
