Biography

Ivan Luthfi Ihwani is a teaching staff member at the Department of Mathematics, Universitas Gadjah Mada. As an academic, he works to bridge the gap between research, education, and industry, spending most of his days engaging with students and collaborating with colleagues.

He earned his bachelor’s degree from the Department of Mathematics, Universitas Brawijaya, in 2016, followed by a master’s degree from the Department of Mathematics, National Central University (NCU), Taiwan, in 2018. He completed his Ph.D. in Mathematics at National Central University, Taiwan, under the supervision of Prof. Feng-Nan Hwang, supported by the Ministry of Education (MOE) Taiwan Fellowship.

 

Research interests

His research focuses on numerical methods, high-performance computing, and machine learning tuning for partial differential equations.
