This program is part of a series of Community Service (PkM) activities conducted by the UGM Department of Mathematics in Banyumas since 2017.

Prior to the event, Indonesia was facing an unfavorable situation due to large-scale demonstrations in several regions. However, thanks to good coordination between the organizing team and the Banyumas Regency Senior High School/MA Mathematics Teacher Working Group (MGMP), the event was able to run smoothly. A total of 29 mathematics teachers from various schools in Banyumas Regency attended and participated enthusiastically.

After the event was officially opened by the Head of the Senior High School/MA Section of the Regional Education Office X, Education and Culture Office, Central Java Province, the main agenda continued with the presentation of materials on learning strategies for UTBK and TKA. Participants received in-depth explanations on how to analyze question trends, develop effective teaching strategies, and apply techniques for solving questions quickly and accurately. Interactive discussions were also an important part of the activity, allowing teachers to share experiences and exchange ideas to improve the quality of learning in their respective schools.

This PkM activity is expected to have a positive impact on mathematics teachers in Banyumas Regency, particularly in preparing students to face the challenges of final exams and university entrance exams. Through this program, it is hoped that the quality of education in the Banyumas region will continue to improve, in line with the mission of the UGM Department of Mathematics to contribute to educational development in Indonesia.
