The Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), held a farewell and welcome ceremony for the department and study program management on Monday (12 January 2025) at Meeting Room I, 3rd Floor. The event was attended by all academic staff of the Department of Mathematics FMIPA UGM.
The farewell and welcome ceremony was not merely interpreted as a change in management, but also as a momentum for the continuation of spirit, vision, and dedication in the sustained effort to advance the institution. This momentum is expected to maintain leadership continuity, academic quality, and the department’s achievement performance.
Along with the conclusion of the previous management period, the Department of Mathematics officially established the new management structure for the 2026–2031 period. The composition of the Department and Study Program management of the Department of Mathematics FMIPA UGM for the 2026–2031 period is as follows:

The extended family of the Department of Mathematics expressed its hopes that all newly appointed management members will carry out their responsibilities with full dedication and be able to encourage the advancement of the Department of Mathematics through various academic and non-academic achievements. The commitment to continuously produce graduates who are excellent, competent, and highly competitive is expected to be maintained and further strengthened.
On the same occasion, the highest appreciation was also extended to the Department of Mathematics Management for the 2021–2026 period for their dedication and service. All contributions made are hoped to become valuable deeds and a source of inspiration for future progress of the Department of Mathematics FMIPA UGM.
