Yogyakarta, February 26, 2024 – The Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), proudly announces the successful implementation of the Workshops on Achievement Strategies for Performance Target Attainment (TCK) for the year 2024. This event occurred from February 23 to 25, 2024, at Grand Dafam Signature, Yogyakarta International Airport.
Participants, consisting of faculty members and the Department of Mathematics, FMIPA UGM educational staff, gathered and traveled together from the campus to the workshop venue on Friday, February 23, 2024, at 4:00 PM local time. The event commenced at 7:15 PM local time with a plenary session featuring opening remarks and guidance from the Chairperson of the Department of Mathematics, followed by a presentation on the TCK achievement strategy for the Mathematics, Statistics, and Actuarial Science programs. Dr. rer. nat led this presentation. Yeni Susanti, M.Si., with minutes taken by Era Setya Cahyati, S.Si., M.Sc.
The second day consisted of parallel laboratory sessions discussing TCK strategies for enhancing research quality, collaboration, community service, and human resource quality improvement. The plenary session continued with presentations on TCK achievement strategies for master’s and doctoral programs, as well as synchronization of targets for the Department of Mathematics Strategic Plan (Renstra), led by Dr. Budi Surodjo, M.Si., and recorded by Mohamad Fahruli Wahyujati, S.Si., M.Si. The second day’s activities concluded with interim TCK achievement data collection for the year 2024.
On Sunday, February 25, 2024, reports from each laboratory and follow-up action plans were presented on the final day. In line with the tradition of academic excellence and collaboration, Dr. Nanang Susyanto, the Head of the Department of Mathematics, led this session, reaffirming the department’s commitment to achieving the set strategic targets.
This event served as a platform for academics and staff to align their vision and mission toward achieving TCK and as a moment to strengthen cooperation and synergy among the department’s study programs. In the context of SDG 4 on Quality Education, collaboration among mathematics study programs can help strengthen the curriculum, improve teaching quality, and create an inclusive and sustainable learning environment. With high spirits of collaboration and dedication, all participants returned to the FMIPA UGM campus on Sunday afternoon, using a bus and carrying hopes and concrete action plans for the upcoming year.
