Yogyakarta, February 16, 2023 – Property management company Bukit Vista hosted a Round Table Talk event at home-based Bukit Vista Yogyakarta on February 16, 2023. The event was held with the aim of facilitating collaboration between industry and educational institutions to achieve sustainable development, encourage knowledge exchange and collaboration, as well as initiate idea exchange and strengthen friendships.
Bukit Vista invited representatives from Innovative Academy UGM and the Mathematics Department of UGM to participate in this event. The event, which started at 18.00, was attended by several invited guests, including Mr. Denny, Chairman of Innovative Academy UGM; Mr. Nanang, content team member from Innovative Academy UGM; Mr. Nanang Susyanto, Chairman of the Mathematics Department of UGM; Ms. Vina, Coordinator of the Creative and Social Media Team of the Mathematics Department of UGM; Mr. Hafid, Content Creator Supervisor at Bukit Vista; as well as Mr. Furqon and Ms. Dea from the Public Relations department of Bukit Vista.
Discussions took place among the attending guests regarding the challenges and opportunities for collaboration between industry and education. Representatives from Innovative Academy UGM emphasized the importance of integrating theory and practice in learning, while representatives from the Mathematics Department of UGM highlighted the role of mathematics in innovation and industrial development.
Bukit Vista brought an industry perspective regarding challenges in recruiting talent that meets market needs. The discussion also highlighted partnerships between the education and industry sectors, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDG 17, which emphasizes the importance of partnerships to achieve development goals.
The Round Table Talk at home-based Bukit Vista Yogyakarta is not just an informal event but also a concrete effort to build bridges between the worlds of education and industry to achieve sustainable development.
