Learning the Application of Number Theory in Cryptography: Two Mathematics Students Attend CIMPA School in Vietnam

Centre International De Mathématiques Pures Et Appliquées (CIMPA) School, with the theme “Application of Number Theory,” was successfully held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from June 3 to June 14, 2024. The aim of this school was to introduce participants to various aspects of number theory (algorithmic) and arithmetic geometry, as well as the highly productive interactions between these subjects and the applied disciplines of cryptography and coding theory.
