On Monday, 19 December 2022 the Department of Mathematics of FMIPA UGM received a visit from the Department of Mathematics of FMIPA Universitas Bengkulu (UNIB). This event was held in the Meeting Room of the Mathematics Department Lt. 3 Building S2/S3 FMIPA UGM. The Mathematics Department, Bengkulu University was represented by five lecturers namely Ramya Rachmawati, S.Sc., M.Sc., Ph.D., Siska Yosmar, S.Sc., M.Sc., Nur Afandi, S.Sc., M .Sc., Dr. Jose Rizhal, S.Sc., M.Sc., and Septri Damayanti, S.Sc., M.Sc.
The event was opened with remarks from Dr. Nanang Susyanto, S.Sc., M.Sc., the Head of the Department of Mathematics, FMIPA UGM and then followed by a brief profile explanation of the Department of Mathematics, FMIPA UGM.
On this occasion, the two parties discussed the curriculum and learning systems at each university, including the continuity of the MBKM program, governance, departmental quality assurance and so on. At the meeting, Mrs. Ramya Rachmawati, Deputy Dean for Student Affairs, FMIPA UNIB expressed her hope that in the future she would be able to collaborate on the next opportunity. The department’s visit was closed with the handing over of mementos and a group photo session.
