Exceptional achievements were attained by UGM mathematics students at the International Mathematics Competition (IMC) 2023, held in Bulgaria. The delegation team secured a silver medal and an honorable mention award.
The International Mathematics Competition is a global math competition participated in by hundreds of institutions from various countries. This year, the 2023 International Mathematics Competition took place in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria, from July 31 to August 6, 2023.
Orlando Ferrari earned a silver medal, while Muhammad Raid Akram received an honorable mention. Both are students in the 2021 and 2019 mathematics programs.
This victory is expected to inspire all UGM mathematics students to enhance their competitive spirit and creativity on both the national and international stages.
