Yogyakarta, February 24, 2024 – As part of the series of Workshops on Achievement Strategies for Performance Target Attainment (TCK) held by the Department of Mathematics, FMIPA UGM, the interim Achievement Data Collection for TCK 2024 took center stage on Saturday evening (24/2) at Grand Dafam Signature, Yogyakarta International Airport.
This temporary data collection was carried out carefully and meticulously by the educational staff of the Department of Mathematics with direct handling by the Secretary of the Department of Mathematics, Dr. Noorma Yulia Megawati, M.Sc., M.Act.Sc.. The data collection process involved all lecturers and the Department of Mathematics FMIPA UGM education staff who attended the meeting.
“Data collection on the provisional achievement of TCK 2024 is a very important first step. The data collected at this stage will be the basis for evaluation and planning for the next steps,” said Dr. Noorma Yulia Megawati.
Each Study Program and laboratory in the Department of Mathematics, UGM, presented achievement data and progress made during specific periods. The educational staff conducted direct surveys with the faculty, divided into 12 groups. Through these sessions, the educational staff gathered information on research implementation, community service (PkM), citation data, recognition, and publication data from 2020 to 2024 conducted by each faculty member in the Department of Mathematics.
Moreover, the efforts of the Department of Mathematics, UGM, in conducting interim achievement data collection and formulating achievement strategies are also in line with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development advocated by the United Nations (UN). These steps support several SDGs, particularly SDG 4 on Quality Education, SDG 9 on Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, and SDG 17 on Partnerships for the Goals. By focusing on improving education quality, science and technology innovation, and collaboration among stakeholders, the Department of Mathematics, FMIPA UGM, contributes to global efforts to achieve sustainable development goals.The enthusiastic and interactive meeting provided an opportunity to provide feedback, refine, and complete existing data. This initial evaluation serves as the basis for refining strategies and action plans to support the achievement of Performance Targets (TCK) for the Department of Mathematics, FMIPA UGM.
“We are committed to continuing our efforts and working hard to achieve the set Performance Targets. Ultimately, this success will create a better academic environment for the development of mathematics,” concluded Dr. Nanang Susyanto, M.Sc., M.Act.Sc., as the Chairperson of the Department of Mathematics, FMIPA UGM.
